Configured Marlin 2.0.8 today and compiled using Visual Studio Code > PlatformIO > Marlin Auto Build. I uploaded to my backup controller and tested some areas I was curious about they worked correctly.
When I get some more time will Upload to both my Hictop 3D Printers and give them a large model to 3D Print..

Updated mine a few days ago. A few new nice features. This (#define Z_IDLE_HEIGHT) looks really promising as one of my machines has a heavy bed that will drop when unpowered..

I will check this out, though using a Ramp compatible controller my memory is close to its limits ! Hummm
* Set Z_IDLE_HEIGHT if the Z-Axis moves on its own when steppers are disabled.
I fixed this problem by changing my dual lead screws from T8x8 which has a 8mm lift per 360° rotation to a T8x2 which has a 2mm lift per 360° rotation. This changed the power off stationary holding, Below is a photo of 3 lead screws have had experience with. 1st T8x2 on the right is the stock lead screws for my 3D Printer, they were the worst warped lead screws, they were noisy squeaky lead screws. 1st T8x8 on the left this lead screw was what everyone told me were the best, every time after turned power off and on would have to re-align the dual lead screw level.
Center was my permanent choice have never had any bed leveling or dual led screw alignment problems.

I'll probably do that at some stage. Found some T8x2's recently and have them bookmarked for a future purchase.
