I was looking at enabling Power Loss recovery and came across this link does anyone have a better option or will this provide a proper power loss recovery.

Looks like it should provide basic power loss. I would suggest investing in a UPS. Best option would be to do both. For UPS, I use many APC 1500 around the home. I have one on my printers, one on wifey's printer, 1 on each computer, 1 on bedroom tv stuff, 2 on living room entertainment center (also houses modem and router), and a smaller one in the basement on power inserter for satellite tv. This way we can keep going no matter what we are doing for an hour or 2 after power goes out. If longer than that, then we rely on power recovery for the printers. Eventually want to get a generator, then the UPS only have to handle until we can start the generator and switch over.
