This is one of my longest 3D Prints and one of the most complex at 7 hours.
It works a little stiff need to fidget with for a while.
An its not even mine Made it for a friend.

Neat...I've seen just the center part before, but not with the balls/sleeve. Is this on Thiniverse, Prusa, or elsewhere?

Read the instructions:::
I did not read the instructions until after I pulled off supports, In the instructions is states that the supports are harder than you will think to remove but they do come off.

The last time I printed one of these, I chucked up a bit in my drill backward (that fits the center hole.) Then I squirted some rubbing compound in the gears and ran it hard and fast with my drill until all the moving parts got really smooth. I still have the original close to hand. I tried using oil on one and it was a mess. The rubbing compound washes right out when you're done!

That's why I love this hobby. So many creative solutions to try.

I set about to printing this because I am a glutton for punishment. I haven't even tweaked ANY of the Hictop settings aside from what I detailed in the other post.
I'm quite pleased that the supports came off like a dream and the outer bearings got going quite well. The inner gears took a bit more work to get loose because I squished the first layer a tad. I also had the infill set too low. I am using the stock Prusa I3 profile in Cura 5.0. I hooked the proper size allen key in to the drill and set about loosening up the middle gears when one of them cracked and the center started to pop out. I just juiced the trigger too hard. I changed a couple of slicer setting and set the file to print again.
The first print took 3 hours 34 minutes at .15 layer height and the first one only had 10% infill. The second one has 40% in a different pattern. I am printing the smaller of the two.
