1: If it's not loose now, it will be. 2: If you haven't checked if it's tight - it will be loose. 3: If you have tightened it previously - it will now be loose. 4: Tightening the Y-Axis belt will cause you to drink. 5: Bed adjustment knobs are Gods gift to 3D printing. 6: If you have not properly aligned your bearing rods, they are going to be misaligned. 7: Small squares of a sound deadening material (Dynamat or Kill-Mat) fastened to the bed carriage (I have a thick upgraded one) can REALLY quiet the printer a WHOLE lot.
8: There is a better way to mount the screws, springs and bed to make adjustment WAY easier.
My new setup goes (from top to bottom)
Screw w/ Loc-tite Red. Bed Lock washer M3 nut - tightened to bed.
Spring Frame Adjustment knob with M3 nuts inserted in the bottom.
The screws stay rock solid and the adjustment knobs work as advertised. The replacement yellow Ender 3 springs are too stiff for this application.
I'm printing a newer style Y-Axis two-piece adjustment/mounting bracket w/end-stop bracket. I'm not sure if I have the hardware to assemble this though. I also don't want to level the bed if I have to remove it again.
This is where the project stands now.
As far as checking if things are loose - check EVERYTHING. My front Y-Axis mount, Y-Axis motor mount and tension block were all very loose.

Addendum for your sound dampening material....Sorbothane is amazing stuff
I have 2 Prusa MK3S on a wooden table. I put Sorbothane feet on both, and there is no resonance sound from the table

My Ender has some feet I made a LONG time ago out of TPU. Do you think a guy could find that dang file again? Heck no. I should add a picture for reference.
