I've started to read and experiment with Marlin 2.0 and I've never felt so under water. Holy coding.

I really understand.
As far as I can remember our local college did not have any programming classes. In 1974 I started to self teach myself Computer Programming an was hired by a large company to program a cable tray enter database in 1977. It was not until the 90's after Deciding needed more programming experience took some Classes at my Local college for Computer Science to continue my career as a Programmer.

I have installed Winmerge, VS Code and all of the Marlin plug-ins and everything works. I just need to learn more. I'll stick with 1.9 on the printers for now. At least I understand that enough to make it work.

I will become a thorn in Clif's side.

Not at all I enjoy helping, it helps me keep the information in my own thoughts.
Working on different machines will be interesting though. We will both have to keep in mind what our own 3D Printers parameters are.
Have configured Marlin on list below
1.1.0 RC8-Hic 1.1.X RC6-Hic Marlin-1.1.1 thru Marlin-1.1.9 2.0.X BF_Hic.alpha Marlin_2.0-BF - present version
All my 3D Printers are running Marlin 2.0.9.2 at current time.

First Configuration is complete
I have watched 12 of Ed's videos which show most of what I will be incorporating into my version of marlin 2.1.2.2.
Why!!! Just as a refresher course most information was never lost./.

My Controller arrived today. The mail delivery person but it in a empty locked mail box below mine.
How do I know this??? Just picked up my mail was leaving mail boxes and saw a different mail person returning so returned to the boxes. An asked why is my mail not in my box, I have a delivery message stating the package was delivered. the Mail carrier checked the boxes found the package in a larger box where they put packages. Then proceeded to look for the key, it was in an unused box one box below mine.
At lest I kind of know what happens to my mail and why it is delivered later than my mail delivery text messages states...

I haven't fooled with my new stuff yet save for extracting the two ducks and presenting my wife with the pair making her squeal - they have lashes.
I'm not sure that I will get around to it this weekend either, but you never know. The Hictop kinda needs more help at this point.

What is your starting g-code for your slicer profile? That default Prusa profile I picked seems to print in the front right corner of the bead and does a purge center bed but off the front on to the work surface.
