I frequent 4 3D Printer forums an have never seen so few posts in the 6 years I've been a 3D Printer enthusiast.
I am expecting postings to pick up quickly in the next few weeks, I too have been slacking with so many other things to do. Getting caught up with many long forgotten chores that need my attention, this has caused my 3D Printer hobby to be last on my lists. Finally getting caught up I am expecting to finally get back to a regular schedule for 3D Printing an 3D Printer forum posting...
First I have to finally make my 3D Printers home, a safe an easily accessible, need complete cleaning, maintenance for each 3D Printer, an create a system to vent vapors outside.
Will be back soon.

I know, I'm terrible for posting and better for responding. It's a slow build, but one day we'll have enough users that it is busy every day.

Back with Blu up and running 3D Printing a skeleton fish key ring. Not yet finished printing my skeleton fish key ring though wanted to get back into posting.
This would be one complete and three to clean, adjust and calibate.

Having Problems with my SD cards reading after many file updates using Microsoft Windows 10 the ability to create a usable SD card is gone. After many time trying to format a usable SD card I found USB Duplicator Image Creator and USB Duplicator Image Writer to allow a duplicate working Flash card. After creating a workable SD, adding new files to SD using Microsoft windows 10 causes the working SD card to fail 3D Printer startup.
Also
In Windows go to Start/Search and type diskmgmt.msc, right click the diskmgmt results and Run As Administrator. In the Elevated Disk Management window Right click the SD drive letter and Format, Choose FAT and under Allocation unit size, then choose cluster size.
However can make, create or copy files using my windows 7 laptop ??? Well maybe, More testing is required, had problems here also.
If someone has a suggestion creating SD with Window 10 would be grateful.

I have finally discovered the problem, and have successfully created a usable SD card under windows 7. Then creating a backup image of this working SD card under Windows 10 and duplicated it for archival purposes. Problem was a single Micro SD card adapter that was created for Blu, my first cleaned, adjusted & working 3D Printer at new home. This defective adapter allowed for the creation of working SD card as well as defective SD card for my 3D Printer. After discovering the problem discarding the bad SD card adapter I was able to create working SD cards using windows 7 pro.
Tested adding a sliced G-code to this SD card using windows 10 and it crashed the SD card, though windows 7 was successful. Guess I will have to always keep a windows 7 computer, or replace all the 3D Printer controller cards.
This is crazy because I was just using windows 10 to create and slice models before I moved, and every thing was working correctly.

not sure why the OS would matter as the file is done by the slicer, not the OS and the card, as you said, is already formatted...very strange

I will do more testing, though these are the results my testing have given me. I too do not believe the results, it could be because fat16 is no longer supported using windows 10. May have to use a secondary program to transfer the files to the SD cards. I will even do testing using VM ware Player OS's could be hidden there or it could even be and error on my part.
However have a working SD card an after transferring a single g-code my 3D Printer display SD card error. Recreated SD an again it worked.
Further testing shows it must be part of the Defective SD Card adapter corruption that may have caused the problem.

Thank you for posting the link. Though only have 2GB micro SD cards and have them inserted into the SD card adapters. This adapter was my major problem as one of my adapters became defective corrupting files for my 3D Printer.
