Today installed a 1mm nozzle on my Hictop 3DP12 Printer, an started a new Print with a layer height of 0.5mm, and the ability to print from 0.2mm - 0.8 mm layer height this will give me the ability to 3D Print larger models faster.
Configuring this was easy and the print started perfectly will post the model when it leaves the Print bed all discuss print quality of model.
Though we are 3D Printing 1.1mm wide soon to be upgraded to 1.25mm in width with a layer height of 0.5mm. The print speed remains quite fast at 70%, printing material calculates to 3D Printing 28.0mm 3^ per second of 1.75mm filament. This is pushing the Max speed of the of the Hictop's 40 watt Hot-end heater, any faster and the print look under extruded.
I calculated that a 21 hour print with a 0.4mm nozzle layer height of 0.32mm can be complete with the new nozzle configuration in 1/3 the time.

I dropped the overlap to 15% this overlap was clearly not enough returned it to 22%.
Also learned that the top layers flat should be ironed for a smother surface.
