I can say that I have never printed on Blue painters tape.
However I have 3D Printed using Vinyl transfer tape, I like the Transfer tape because it can be purchased in the width of the bed. This makes installing tape in a single piece with no gaps between the multiple strips of tape across the bed.
Being a single piece of tape allows for the nozzle to have a smooth crossing of the paper tape build surface.

Many questions I received is, will the paper tape hold my model firmly enough to the bed and not fall of during the 3D Printing process.

I initially printed on the blue painters tape on the Hicktop. Once I got a piece of PEI coated glass, I never looked back. I have the same for the Ender and have recently started printing PLA+ with a cold bed with much success. After 2 adult beverages, I printed a Benchy on the Ender at 100mm/s with surprising results.
