1st project, Red my first 3D Printer needs a part reprinted the CableChain_XStepper.stl file to repair its X carriage chain assembly.
During Red's visit and storage this part became broken and needs replacement and re-printed. As Red seems to have survived the best, will start by 3D Printing the CableChain_XStepper.stl file.
Red is my first 12V Hictop 3D Printer and and has been a real workhorse with little to no need for many repairs. Red is also the 1st of my 3D Printers to have 3D printed over 24 hours for a single print.

As I readied myself for 3D Printing this link of my chain and I found that it is not a really strong piece and that it has failed on more than one of my 3D Printers. This part needs to be re-design to be able to survive downward stresses that caused it to break in the first place and be able to last longer.
Thinking about adding a rib for to the front for additional support. Any ideals on this solution!
Using Thinker Cad added the support features below.
I have pondered the design from the moment of my decision of using this re-designed XStepper link of the chain if it was strong enough to support the forces that could be involved in real time use. One of my first STL designs was with ThinkerCad it is easily used to create or redesign any STL file we currently need for out projects.
As I have 3 Hitop 3D Printers with the same design cable link will print three as not to have this same problem again later down the road.

that may help, but is it worth looking at the material you are using? Do you only print PLA? PETG? Is it worth maybe printing this piece in something like PC or stronger?

This part lasted a very long time It was weak from the beginning. Will try with PLA an it that does not appear to be strong enough may try ABS.
At this point have not played with any other filament. maybe I should.
