Today I started my first Print in 2 years thanks to Xayoz posting of the STL file hat I had lost somewhere.
This File should finish 3D Printing printed in about 25 minutes
A little background, believe it of not am using for my 1st 3D Printing project Cura 15.04.6 as the print specs stated that the print would finish in 25 minutes.
Where as PrusaSlicer stated the the same print would take about 2:14 minutes.
This being my first 3D Printing project in 2 years decided on the fastest timed slicer this being Cura 15.04.6.
Will worry about quality of print later just want all 3D Printers running at this time
My Settings are
.24mm layer height
1.2mm Shell thickness
Speed 6.9mm^3 per sec of 1.75mm filament
Print temp 200C
Bed temp 42C
Start print for 1st layer is 3.1mm^3 per sec of 1.75mm filament
Well the print is about half done at this time an is looking really well.
This is crazy because my nephew keep telling me that this 3D Printer would not print at all.
After Leveling the bed, slicing Stl file, and aligning the Bed sensor it works like brand new.
Ha HA this is a joke because it works 100 times better than is did with the old Marlin-1.1.0-RC6_Hici3-1.1.0-RC6_CL061316a firmware.
Was luck to get a print off the bed that looked kind of OK!!!
After Closer inspection Pur (Purple) did not do as well as first thought though It gave me a part that partially fixed Red.
I was printing a older part will see if I can make Red print better by 3D Printing the New improved Part Xayoz posted for me with Red.
After I get one 3D Printer printing great models will be able to get all my 3D Printers printing Great models
Its kind of crazy, my only 12volt 3D printer (Red) out prints all my 24volt 3D Printers.
OK Had to come back here to add a little more info.
After Printing the holder and posting information on another forum noticed that it has a tie wrap added.
I was 3D Printing for 3 hours without the tie wrap and this work perfectly.
