Punxsutawney Phil sees its shadow after it emerges from its burrow Tuesday, February 2, 2021. However Unadilla Bill from Nebraska who boasts one of the highest accuracy ratings for three decades of service, Nebraska's most famous groundhog, is retiring. Unadilla Bill predicted an early spring as the last forecast in his 33-year career. Washington State weather is already 42° as of yesterday & last Night. Placed this here in comedy because the predictions of Punxsutawney Phil is at 47% you could flip a coin a beat Phil's accuracy rating.

Oh Heck I am not superstitious.
The temperature has risen from the wind chill of negative temperatures to a crisp sunrise temperature of 50° Fahrenheit today.
Another funny. we have always had Chinook winds this term first derived the Chinook people along the lower Columbia River a warming wind from the ocean. The Blackfoot people term this wind "Snow Eater". Today they call this wind the Pineapple Express. I still call this the Chinook Wind an not the Pineapple Express.

was just my poor attempt at being funny...a warning against superstition (don't be superstitious) followed by a superstition (it's bad luck).
